Las Vegas Restaurant Suggestions |
|
If you like to eat out, Las Vegas is the place to do it. Many major restaurants around the country have opened locations in Las Vegas. Las Vegas Restaurants: Our favorite Las Vegas restaurants, in no particular order, are: Rosemary's (in our opinion best in Vegas)-- Long drive (it's at West Sahara and Cimarron), but well worth it. Rosemary's was started by Emeril Lagasse's sous chef after she moved to Vegas from New Orleans to open Emeril's Fish House in MGM. If it's on the menu, do not pass up the gnocchi -- even if you don't like gnocchi, you can't help but love it. Nobu (in Hard Rock Hotel) - Hip Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant. If you can get in, go. Noodles (in the... |

Bellagio Hotel & Casino - Best Place to Stay in Las Vegas
Author:
Tom Schmidt
The Bellagio hotel and casino in Las Vegas is one of the most impressive resort hotels in the world. Built by Steve Wynn, no expense was spared in its construction. The hotel rooms at Bellagio are among the most comfortable you will find in any hotel. Only the Four Seasons at Mandalay Bay, the Venetian, and Wynn's Las Vegas hotels provide comparable hotel accommodations in Las Vegas. The beds are to die for. Piled high with pillows, with one of the most comfortable mattresses we've ever slept on, the beds scream luxury. Super comfortable sheets don't hurt. The bathrooms are extremely nice as well. They come with huge tubs, double sinks, and a separate shower. The hotel rooms at the Bellagio Las Vegas are not as fancy as the rooms at the Venetian Hotel, and they are not as modern as those at the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel, but they are probably more classy than both, and are more comfortable. One of the best attributes of the Bellagio is the superior service you will find at every turn. From the waiters and waitresses, to the front desk staff, to the casino dealers, you won't find more helpful and friendly people in Las Vegas. The service has fallen off a little since MGM Mirage took over from Steve Wynn, but it's still the best service in Las Vegas. If you visit Las Vegas, whether you get a hotel room at the Bellagio or not, make sure you stop by to see their fabulous Cirque du Soleil show, "O". The title of the show is a play on words. The French word for water is "eau," which is pronounced like our letter "O". The name is fitting because the stage is a huge adjustable pool. The prices are high, and tickets are hard to come by, but both the money and the hassle are worth it. This is one of the best shows performed anywhere in the world. Call ahead and reserve your tickets. Bellagio also has the best collection of restaurants in Las Vegas. Here's the restaurant rundown: Best steakhouse in Las Vegas: Prime at Bellagio Best Asian restaurant in Las Vegas: Jasmine at Bellagio Best casual Asian food in Las Vegas: Noodles at Bellagio Best sushi in Las Vegas: Shintaro at Bellagio Best cafe in Las Vegas: Bellagio Cafe Top 5 fancy French restaurant in Las Vegas: Picasso at Bellagio Best new restaurant in Las Vegas: Sensi at Bellagio The bottom line is that Bellagio offers the best restaurants in Las Vegas. It offers the best service in Las Vegas. It also offers one of the best casinos and some of the best hotel rooms in Las Vegas. It is far and away our pick for the best place to stay and play in Las Vegas. About the Author Tom Schmidt is a travel writer for SearchingCities.com. How To Get Great Las Vegas Room Rates |
|
Here's how to get great Las Vegas room rates: Preferably a few months before you go to Las Vegas (but even a few weeks before you go might work) sign as many Las Vegas hotel online guestbooks as you can, eg www.excalibur.com, www.mandalaybay.com. They'll start sending you emails of special room offers. Don't worry, you shouldn't be deluged with tons of email, even if you've signed more than ten guestbooks. I average about one per month per hotel. Or you can open a special free email account just for your guestbook signings. If you do this make sure you check it frequently so you can read the special offers you'll receive. When you're ready to make your booking, if you're calling the hotel, make sure you have the email offer in front of you. There's usually a code you need to quote in order to get the special offer. Also, when you make the booking, double check you're getting the rate that was offered in the email, just to make sure. If you're calling the hotel, not all the operators know about the special email offers which is why you need to quote the code and double check you're getting the right rate. You'll also need a credit card when making your booking so make sure you have that in front of you too. A couple of days before I'm due to arrive in Las Vegas, I always call the hotel and confirm my reservation. I have the email offer in front of me and I make sure they have the details of that, along with the code and special room rate. It's a good idea to also find out when check in time is and how long they hold your reservation for if you're late checking in. If you know you won't arrive until early/late evening it's advisable to tell them that and ask if they can hold your room for you because you'll... |
